O que significa final fantasy 7 remake?

A battle scene with Cloud, Barret, and Tifa facing a dragon. In this given moment, the player must choose a command for Cloud to perform. At random intervals on the world map and in field mode, and at specific moments in the story, the game will enter the battle screen, which places the player characters on one side and the enemies on the other. It employs an "Active Time Battle" (ATB) system, in which the characters exchange moves until one side is defeated.[1][2] The damage or healing dealt by either side is quantified on screen. Characters have several statistics that determine their effectiveness in battle; for example, hit points determine how much damage they can take, and magic determines how much damage they can inflict with spells. Each character on the screen has a time gauge; when a character's gauge is full, the player can input a command for them.

As a result of the high quantity of memory storage required to implement the motion data for characters, only the CD-ROM format would be able to suit the project's needs and thus the game would be developed for Sony's PlayStation platform.

In the town of Kalm Cloud tells the others his tale of the Nibelheim Incident, or what happened in the town five years ago, but his story is filled with gaps. Cloud tells that five years ago he and Sephiroth had been sent to Cloud's hometown to investigate the local mako reactor where Sephiroth had found Jenova, a creature Shinra took to be an Ancient, and who had been called Sephiroth's mother. Troubled by the discovery, Sephiroth had delved into his past and the Jenova Project—from which he was born—led by Professor Gast and the deranged Professor Hojo.

Trailers and the game's developers have implied that Rebirth will still loosely follow the original's footsteps, even if the order in which they occur is different. After their departure from Midgar, the gang will seemingly make their way to the small town of Kalm, where Cloud explains his and Sephiroth's former friendship and what exactly happened in Nibelheim all those years ago.

"[62] Paul Davies of Computer and Video Games described it as "truly unique" and "an incredible new era of interactive final fantasy 7 rebirth entertainment" that could "revolutionize" belief of "what a video game can achieve", with arguably "some of the best moments in entertainment history", including "excitement" and "heart-rendering" emotional scenes, concluding that, with a "thrilling" storyline "brought to life with ingenious" gameplay, the "future of PlayStation is assured by this key to the future of games."[41]

Limits, and equipment are the only things truly unique to party members, and the player may choose to style their equipped Materia on these party members based on these factors. Though base stats are also unique to a character, they can be boosted easily, and their effect is ultimately negligible. Field[]

And Square Enix is being awfully cheeky about how it's changing the course of events too. A recent trailer teased an iconic moment in the story, which longtime fans will surely recognize.

[18][19] The development team had initially entertained the idea of remaking FFVII across two games as opposed to three, citing the indecision on direction as being a primary reason for their lack of clarification on how many parts the remake would be. Kitase explained that this was due to the difficulties in determining development scheduling due to the lack of understanding regarding the project's overall scope.[20] The follow-up to Remake had begun active development by November 2019 prior to the game's initial release on PlayStation 4.[21] According to Nomura, the game was designed with newcomers in mind.[22]
